Two large stainless steel keel safety plates are used in the keel pockets inside the hull in order to evenly transfer the loads from the keel to the hull and balk structure. These larger keel safety plates were especially specified by the buyer for this individual yacht when it was ordered from the shipyard in Slovenia in 2006.
